Where research becomes dialogue.
NDT convenes conferences, expert roundtables, Track II dialogues and training programs that connect scholarship with diplomatic practice.
The First International Congress of Nations Diplomacy
The First International Congress of Nations Diplomacy was convened in July 2023 in Isfahan by Nations’ Diplomacy Think Tank, in cooperation with the Embassy of Austria in Iran and the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Tehran.
Under the theme “Iran and Austria: A Grand History of Cultural and Diplomatic Relations,” the congress brought together Iranian and Austrian scholars, diplomats and young researchers to examine shared cultural heritage, the history of bilateral relations and the role of academic diplomacy in contemporary international affairs.
Sessions addressed cultural memory, diplomatic history, science and technology cooperation, and the contribution of Track II dialogue to mutual understanding. The program included speeches by senior Iranian and Austrian scholars, diplomats and representatives of cultural and academic institutions.
